Casting the Wax Model into Metal
In custom high end jewelry production,including custom silver jewelry and custom gold jewelry or custom gold plated jewelry, the custom jewelry wax tree is positioned on a cylinder. Plaster slurry is carefully injected along the cylinder’s inner wall, left to solidify naturally for 6-12 hours, and then baked to form the plaster mold. Afterward, the mold is removed, and the molten sterling silver or brass materials is cast into it, ensuring precise and intricate designs.
